KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inventory Specialist is a team player that supports the sales team to ensure the departments success. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the dealership's vehicle inventory. Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

• Acquisition of vehicles through lease returns, online auction sites, live traditional auctions.
• Act as a resource for purchasing vehicles off of the street or through the service drive.
• Disposition of vehicles through group trading, online auctions, and live traditional auctions.
• Complete utilization of the Vauto tool.
• Accountability for vehicle aging, Vauto metrics, and sales performance.
• Communication with the stores (Sales Managers and GM's) with which vehicles they need to acquire. These are to be the "right vehicles," vehicles that have lower market day supply and fill gaps in inventory segments.
• Assist the sales team in reviewing trade-ins for save-a-deal and filling gaps in needed inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
